ABSTRACT
The buterflies of the Grapholitha funebrana Tr. species, have a dark-brown body, and the drawings on the wings are almost absent. The forewings have a grey-brown colur to the base and grey-brown to grey to their extremities. The egg of the Grapholitha funebrana Tr. species, has a lenticular shape with an eliptic outline of 0,66 – 0,74x0,61 mm.
The larva at complete development is long 10 – 12 mm, with a red-carmine colour on the dorsal side and pale-pink on the ventral side. The head is dark-brown, the thorax and anal plate is brown-yellowish very clear sprinkled with dark spots.
The chrysalis or the pupa have brown colour, it’s just a little longer for the female than the male, the dorsal terminal cone edge with little thorn, differentiated from the chrysalis of the Grapholitha molesta Busk. Species, which have the thorn plate and blunted.
