ABSTRACT
Even if the number of enterprises has decreased in the latest years the EU remains one of the most important producers of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The export is most centred on out side European market countries. Even the farms surface and number has decreased could be observed that the average income for the farmers which invested in vegetable enterprises has increased.
The EU financial intervention will be reoriented from direct subsidies to indirect financial interventions. Many programs which concerns food quality, agri-environment measures, consumers rights, organic food and market stability became priorities.
