abstract
The peach varieties had a good behavior in the studied area, the differences between them are given by the genetically factor. Springcrest and Crimsongold proved to be more vigorous and Antonia and Alexia less.
A good production capacity was remarked at Independence and Crimsongold varieties but with overweight tendency and handy thinning necessity. The new peach varieties, Alexia and Antonia had a good behavior from the floral bud differentiation and fruit set percentage point of view, handy thinning being unnecessary. The highest dry substance was recorded by the Antonia variety and Springcrest excelled in vitamin C.
